The historic and impeccably cared-for house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The master bedroom upstairs has a private bath with shower.

The three bedrooms downstairs have a total of four twin beds and one double, they share a bath with an immense claw-foot tub and a unique rock-lined shower.

The heart of the house is a Mennonite wood-burning cook stove that warms the entire house and ends up being a gathering place on cold days. But we also have the added benefit of central heating. The kitchen is set-up for people who like to cook-- in addition to the wood cook-stove, has a new Viking range and oven, a microwave and a dishwasher. The adjacent dining room opens up onto a vine covered deck-- perfect for dinner al fresco.

The living room is comfortable, a perfect family gathering place, with a piano for sing-alongs and thick wool rugs for lounging in front of the brick fireplace, a good couch for naps, and a game table in the corner with 4 chairs. Lots of natural light comes in through the new skylights. A TV can be used for dvds and videos (there is no tv reception).
